School-Based/Office Based Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Unlicensed)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents, primarily within school environments and our clinical office space. Services are closely aligned with students’ educational, social-emotional, and access needs, often in collaboration with school personnel and caregivers.
Supervision is available for unlicensed clinicians pursuing clinical licensure (e.g., LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT). Licensed candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small group counseling to students in school and/or office settings

Collaborate with educational teams to support students’ access to learning and behavioral goals
-
Develop treatment plans and provide progress updates in alignment with educational or IEP/504/EST needs
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEPs, as appropriate
-
Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
-
Coordinate care with families, educators, and external providers
-
Receive regular clinical supervision and attend team meetings and trainings
-
Any other related job duties as identified by your supervisor
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree (or working toward) in Therapy/Clinical Mental Health/Counseling, Licensed or license-eligible (e.g., working toward LCMHC, LICSW, LMFT in Vermont) Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly in school or community settings

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, SEL (Social Emotional Learning), and educational access barriers

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

School-Based Education Specialist
LunaWay, a specialized education and 1:1 tutoring facility, is hiring for an Education Specialist position that focuses on student-centered practices helping students of all ages and grades reach personal and academic goals in a 1:1 tutorial setting. This candidate should be a self-starter who is flexible and empathetic to the needs of others.

The School-Based Education Specialist is responsible for providing 1:1 education services in a school setting. This role includes monitoring student progress, adjusting educational approach, and ensuring that the education services are effectively meeting the needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Student Support:

Assess student needs and develop personalized tutoring plans to address academic challenges and support learning objectives.

Monitor student progress and adjust education strategies as necessary to ensure effectiveness.

Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience and academic performance.

Collaboration:

Work closely with teachers, school counselors, and parents to identify student needs in tutoring and to coordinate and provide student academic support.

Communicate between teachers and staff to ensure that tutoring sessions complement classroom instruction.

Attend meetings with parents and staff to discuss student progress and tutorial services.

Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and outcomes.

Prepare and submit reports on the effectiveness of the tutorial program, including student achievements and areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with educational standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field OR significant experience working with students with significant social and emotional needs.

Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or educational programs preferred.

Strong understanding of educational practices, curriculum standards, and student support strategies.

Transportation Specialist
LunaWay, a specialized education and 1:1 tutoring facility, is hiring for an Education Specialist position that focuses on student-centered practices helping students of all ages and grades reach personal and academic goals. This candidate should be a self-starter who is flexible and empathetic to the needs of others.
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for following a transport schedule as well as being available for day-to-day transport schedule changes. They will ensure safe and timely delivery of students, efficient transportation operations, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with students, families, and community partners while maintaining healthy relationships and boundaries, be flexible, be reliable, be respectful of students, self, co-workers, and community members. A basic knowledge of kids and their needs in an educational setting is a must! A background in education or social services is a plus!

Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including routes, schedules, and resources as given by their supervisor.

Manage and optimize transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and labor expenses using designated service providers.

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor transportation performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Resolve transportation-related issues and emergencies promptly.

Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, such as vehicle inspections, maintenance, and driver logs.

Collaborate with other departments to meet transportation needs.
